    A Baby's Abortion

    A Baby's Abortion

In the final episode of season four of Salty, we’ll be hearing a woman’s story of abortion and healing. The topic of abortion is obviously as loaded and sensitive as a topic can be, so listen with discretion. We’ll also wrap up the this season’s theme, and pay Julian of Norwich our final visit.

    A Sexual Prosperity Gospel

    A Sexual Prosperity Gospel

In today’s episode of Salty, Sam shares the difficulties he and his wife have had with sex in marriage. Is there such a thing as a “sexual prosperity gospel”? What do we do with couples who followed the “rules” of pre-marital abstinence, and continue to struggle with sexual intimacy?

    My Miscarriage & Medieval Miracles

    My Miscarriage & Medieval Miracles

Today’s episode of Salty will be a bit shorter, and different from the normal format because I’ll be sharing my own story of miscarriage this past summer. This was incredibly difficult for me to make, but I’m blessed to have such wonderful people to share it with.

Real life. The good. The hard. The fun. The Savior.

Loved every episode of each season. Such great conversations & real topics. I have thoroughly enjoyed the different perspectives & insight of each topic discussion. I always finish listening feeling a little deeper connection to my faith.

Wanting to Want Baseball

I absolutely love the theme of Season 3 and its relevance to our current culture but have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the way this conversation with Joe Biagini shed such a bright (and refreshing) light on the topic! I would never have expected to hear a successful professional baseball player "in the big leagues" speak so candidly, with such humility and yet with such wit about his struggles in this "good life" of his. Both Joe and Dawnielle did an amazing job of bringing the listener back down to earth and grounding us the way we all need to be grounded. And I should also mention that hubby (who avoids the touchy feely stuff at all costs) listened to this one with me since it was about baseball; and in between all the laughs, responded exactly the same way I did; telling me how blown away he was by Joe's boldness! Wonderfully entertaining podcast in every way!!

Best podcast I've heard in a long time

I'm very impressed with Salty. Great story telling, fantastic job maintaining a narrative, I like the transitions ... this is a really, really, really good show that holds my attention. I especially like that with each season, Dawnielle is improving. The episode with Kerri Pomarolli was her best, yet. I'm a 22-year internationally synidcated radio professional and when i found out Dawnielle doesn't have any radio experience, I was floored! Sometimes there are unicorns that understand radio/podcasting and excel. I think Dawnielle fits into that category.

Subscribe to this show. You won't be disappointed.
