This podcast is here to shed a light on the culture known as HIp-Hop. In a day and age where music is released so rapidly, it's hard for the average/die-hard fan to keep up. This leaves room for many albums/mixtapes/projects as well as the artists themselves, to missed or forgotten. We want to shed a light on some of these moments and music that have more of an impact on the culture, than you know. Take a walk down memory lane and we'll keep our eyes open for new additions as we say all that needs to be said. This is the Say No More Podcast and thank you for listening. 100

Happy 46th Birthday Hip-Hop Ep. 28 ft. DJ Mar Mar (The Say No More Podcast - Starring DJ NahSla)

Remember Rappin' Duke? Duh-ha, duh-ha/You never thought that Hip-Hop would take it this far - The Notorious B.I.G. - Juicy. Ya manz is back with a special episode of The Say No More Podcast. Happy 46th Birthday to the culture that made this podcast possible. On August 11th 1973, The father of Hip-Hop DJ Kool Herc aka Clive Campbell threw a Back To School Jam in the Rec Room at 1520 Sedgwick Ave. Bronx, NYC.  From there a culture was born and the world would change forever. This would spark everything from the DJ, to Breakdancing by B-Boys and B-Girls, Graffiti, The M.C. as well as the knowledge.  Check out this episode as DJ NahSla has a conversation with his 13 year old son and guest DJ Mar Mar about what this culture means to them. They get into how DJ NahSla was introduced to the culture and how it has affected everything in his life. Shouts to Chuck D with the knowledge from his book This Day in Rao & Hip-Hop History, check that out if you haven't already. This is Mar Mar's first time on a podcast and we're sure it won't be the last. Be sure to check out the recommendations via music, film or books. We hope that you enjoy this one, as always if you like what you hear subscribe and tell a friend.  Appreciate the love and support. Peace

Yerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr What’s hood? Ya manz DJ NahSla is back with another episode of @thesaynomorepodcast ft. Will @will_i_am.rutledge of #TheWilliamRutledgePodcast The two brothas have an in-depth conversation about a true #hustler known as Jim Jones @jimjonescapo following the release of his latest #album El Capo. As Nore always talks about on the Drink Champs podcast, we want to give people their flowers while they can still smell them. This man has had a big influence on the culture and has shown the true spirit of a hustla. From hype man to emcee/rapper to director to producer to executive and all around artist, just to list a few. With an eye for talent, Capo has introduced the culture to many talented individuals including $tack Bundle$ RIP Max B and more. Capo was independent on KOCH but always has done things in a major way, doing business with Jay-Z and Roc Nation. They also get into the incredible album El Cap which may be his best album period. This a big salute to the big homie of The Diplomats. More conversations, reviews, culture and interviews. Take a ride with us, and as always we appreciate your time.  100
