This morning we're talking about friendship and The Simpsons.

Building from last week's texts, we learn a little more about what it means to have a community of belonging, and how it takes shape in the complex figure of the Ethiopian Eunuch.

Have you ever had to drag your little sibling along to be part of something with your friends? Kinda lame, right?

Sure, you include them... but do they belong? What about others who hear "inclusive" but don't belong? What does Jesus invite us to consider?

Today we meet Thomas again in his doubt. How do we deal with doubt? We'll unfold that today.

We expect Jesus to be seen today, but Mark's telling of the resurrection is a bit more complicated. It might leave us wanting a little more. Remember the ending of The Sopranos? Yeah, like that.

But what if we "Don't Stop Believin'"? We'll talk about that more today.
