This sermon was given in 2015, but so important for our time. It’s very rare for people to believe what they say they believe. Truth is truth and it comes from God. But do we really, really believe God’s Grace for us? If so, what then?

We have a messed up family. Ecclesiastes says “All is vanity.” It’s chasing after wind. Revelations can seem to be a pretty dark book about the future. We ought to be miserable, but the watchword of the Christian faith is Joy! John in John 1 says “we are writing these things, that our joy may be complete.” God is light and there is no darkness in Him. And He offers us Joy!

Who was Barabbas? How did he end up in Jail and what happened that set him free. How are we like Barabbas?

A Dangerous Account – The resurrection is a dangerous account. The tomb was empty and the guards were paid to say they were asleep and the disciples stole the body. It was dangerous. How do you explain the empty tomb? Maybe God did come in human flesh.

Why Did Jesus Have To Die? There was a time when we were sinners, separated from God. Sometimes we forget what that means and we should be reminded what it cost God and Jesus.

Who is Jesus… Really? On Palm Sunday, Jesus presents Himself in a very powerful way and makes clear beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is the Messiah. In Matthew 21 He approaches Jerusalem and enters as crowds cheered the long awaited Messiah. But what is a Messiah?
