Sisterhood of Saints — St. Clare Of Assisi The Feminine Genius Podcast
-
- Religion & Spirituality
My full name is Rachel Clare Wong, and I've always wondered what inspired my name. Though my parents weren't quite thinking of St. Clare of Assisi, I still always felt a deep connection to this beautiful saint. As a kid, however, I wrestled with St. Clare's identity as a nun — why would anyone willingly choose to live a life of poverty and silence? It wasn't until I got much older that I came to recognize and appreciate the beauty of such a life, and what it means to really be a bride of Christ.
