Have you ever moved to a place that you didn’t want to go to? Cocoa does not want to move to anywhere else but her parents are not changing their minds. When Cocoa arrives at her new home she can’t imagine staying there but her opinion changes over time.

Bernice is off to the doctor and she is nervous. Bobby has told her lots of things that will happen there and Bernice is imagining the worst. Papa Bear reassures her that Bobby was just exaggerating and that things will be okay. They go into their appointment, meet the nurses and the doctor and realize that Papa Bear was right. They plan to have a special lunch and ice cream afterwards.

The Story of the Opal is a story of how the Opal came to be. One day a sunbeam hears some birds talking and wants to know what is this beautiful thing they are talking about. The Nightingale tells him it is a Moonbeam and she is the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. The sunbeam wants to wait and see the moonbeam but he can’t because when the sun sets he needs to go with it. One day the moon rises before the sun has completely set, will the sunbeam finally be able to see a moonbeam?

Ester is tired after a restless night of replaying the latest story over and over again in her head. She is not the only one who is moving slowly this morning as her brother says his eyes feel like they are full of dragon candy syrup. In the 8th part of our story Ester has a boring day at school talking about making clothes and how to be self-sufficient. When she arrives home her mother is not outside like she usually is. Ester goes in and finds her at the table drinking tea. She gets a cup and sits with her mother and finally asks some questions that have been bottled up inside her for a while now.

Nora and her parents have spent a lot of time exploring the beach and now they are heading to a nearby village for some ice cream. After their final meal of the day, they all head to bed and Nora hears that familiar sound again. Is she imagining things or is this artifact really working?

Red is home after her afternoon with the gang but cannot find anyone in the house and is worried because the AID has been there. When her mom comes up the stairs singing she sighs and they have dinner. When she goes upstairs and chats with the group, Charlie says he has solved the mystery.
