Your glorification started with having a relationship with Jesus
Our journey starts with the Ordo Salutis, the order of salvation, highlighting the stages from election to final glorification. We'll discuss the essence of glorification, both now and in the future, as articulated by theologian Gerald Bray: sharing in God's glory in our resurrected bodies in the new heavens and earth, free from the risk of falling into sin.
We'll break down two pivotal points:
1. Living a Life that Seeks the Glory of God (Romans 8:18-30): After salvation, the Spirit of God guides us to glorify Him, despite our struggles with sin and suffering. We'll discuss how suffering, introduced by the fall, affects creation and believers, and how the Holy Spirit intercedes for us, enabling us to endure and glorify God.
2. Being Known as One of the Elect through Your Love for Jesus(Romans 8:31-39): We'll explore how the love of Christ and the assurance of our election empower us to face tribulations, secure in the knowledge that nothing can separate us from His love.
Join us as we unpack these rich truths and learn how to live a life that glorifies God while eagerly awaiting our final glorification. -
Jeremiah 15: In the state of confusion, I encourage you to frequently feed on the word of God.
Jeremiah 15:10-21.
1. The lament of Jeremiah should encourage you to depend on God.
2. The gospel challenges you to grow in character.
3. Your repentance is curial when it comes to have relationship with God.
In Jesus you are on the mission to share the gospel with this world. As God redeems Jeremiah by paying the ransom, the same Jesus on the cross he redeemed you from the kingdom darkness you paying the ransom on the cross. Jesus is the better Jeremiah who served faithful without complaining like Jeremiah did. -
