Play full songs?

I have been a huge fan of the song of the day for years - really loved listening to a new song every morning.

I understand you want the DJs to provide more context around the songs they are picking, but I wish that in the new format you’d let them play the entire song, not just talk about the songs and play a small snippet. That way - those of us that just want to experience the new songs can still listen to them in full. With this new format, I’ll probably unsubscribe, as for me the joy was listening to music, not talking.

New show isn’t at all as good as the old

Lacking normal KEXP depth, curation and delivery. I’m sure Janice is nice, but she comes off as very amateur, insincere and fake cheery.
The smattering of info on the artists and the tiny sound clips don’t do it for me. I’m all for change and updating, but these are like watching a trailer, not an episode. Also, others already do this type of format and do it much better. Swing and a miss.

Lulusez ,

not worth it anymore. Ugh

I have loved KEXP Song of the Day since inception. The new format is miserable. When you can only hear the small snippet of a song repeating the title, and one of the DJ's voices is absolutely unbearable (sorry), I unsubscribed immediately. I came back today and it is still impossible. I did like hearing the Latin music DJ speak about her new podcast, so maybe I will check that out. I'm surethere was a good reason for the change, but I am out, and for good.
