As Tartan Week approaches, this week’s Sounds from Scotland will take a look back to some of our Bryant Park performances from 2022 and 2023, highlighting the talented bands and performers we at the ASF have worked with throughout the years. Camilla G Hellman, MBE, American-Scottish Foundation President, is in conversation with the Theater School of Scotland, Whisky Kiss, Shot of Scotch with the Lindsay School of Dance, The Scottish Police Choir, and Shamrock and Thistle.
We then hear from Cameron Steer, ASF Youth Ambassador, who takes us along on his journey to master the bagpipes, sharing with us what he has learned so far and giving his insights into the process. We also share a few clips from __, Cameron’s bagpipe instructor, who is part of Feadán Òr Pipe Band, a local pipe band from Rochester NY.
