The Wand of Discipline…
Delightful!!! I love the clearly communicated dialogue, the style, the humor, the transparency and openness that is occurring in this space with these two brilliant women!!
So many thoughts about this episode, but one stood out the most. It pertained to the behavior a past partner displayed when given a particular degree of "freedom." What struck me was how necessary freedom is in order to discern where disciplines would serve us best. Just as Stori allowed herself certain "food freedoms" and discovered some disciplines that created more useful and peaceful outcomes for her body!
This is the "couch of the psychiatrist" between daughter and mom…with a "Red Table Talk" vibe. Smart. Sophisticated. Impressive.
