Therefore, we are all one family.-Humans are united by the--- Image of God- Sin of Adam--There are 70 nations in Genesis 10. Jesus commanded us to -go and make disciples of all nations.- -Mt. 28-19--God's family consists of people from every nation, tribe, people, and language. -Rev. 5-9- 7-9-

    Pastor Randy's Beginnings- Genesis Sermon Series sermon message titled -Promise or Pride--- from Genesis chapter 9.-- God blessed Noah and his sons and commanded them to be fruitful, increase in number, and fill the earth.- God will demand an accounting for the life of another human begin because humans are made in God's image.- The rainbow is a sign that God will keep His promise for all generations to come.- Noah's three sons were Shem, Ham, and Japheth.- Noah's drunkenness and nakedness reflects the sin and shame of Adam and Eve in the garden.- Noah cursed Ham's lineage for two reasons-- Ham dishonored his parents. -Ex.20-12- Lev. 18-7-8-- Canaan could be the son from Ham's sin. -Gen. 9-18,22---Remember, God's plan will never fail - it is not influenced humans, and God loves us with a long-suffering patience.

The ark could comfortably fit over 100,000 animals but only a conservative estimate of 7,000 were needed.-2. Every animal kind was saved, not species.-3. All animals before the flood were plant-eaters.-4. Younger animals eat less and take up less space.-5. Noah was called -righteous- because of his faith.-6. The flood was a tumultuous, cataclysmic event.-7. God is patient with humankind, wanting everyone to come to Salvation-Him.-8. Dinosaurs were created on day six. They could not have died before humans because the sin of Adam and Eve resulted in death.-9. Noah's response to God's salvation was worship.

The Prediction of The Crucifixion -1. There are many Old Testament prophesies concerning Jesus' death.-2. Jesus gave 3 predictions of the crucifixion -o Matthew 16-13-o Matthew 17-1-9-o Matthew 20-17-19-II. The Presentation of The Christ -1. The Christ - Jesus fulfilled the O.T. prophesy concerning himself. Zech 9-9 -Rejoice greatly, shout for joy. Behold your King is coming riding on a donkey's colt.- Jesus deliberately offered Himself as the suffering servant and as the Messiah.-2. The Crowds - The people are shouting -Hosanna to the Son of David--3. The Chief Priests saw the wonderful things Jesus had done and what everyone was saying, and they were indignant. -Matthew 21-15--Jesus came to serve and give His life as a ransom. The Resurrection is the hope and assurance for all believers. Eternal peace is within your reach. He is saying, -Come unto me. I will save you and give you peace.-
