Witness

Chiquita Pascale takes the listener on a journey into the creative process, a process only an artist can create. How refreshing to have an artist whispering into your ear. Can’t wait to see what she does

Beautiful

This is a beautiful podcast. Chiquita explores the challenges of making art through her own experiences, demystifying the process with rare honesty and insight. The first episode is framed as the "nostalgia tour" of an alum returning to college, reconnecting with old mentors and confronting the remains of her undergraduate studio art major. Looking forward to seeing where it goes in future episodes.

Illuminating

This first episode invites us to look through the lens of the creative as "failed artist." A layered view through which we get a tour of Paschal's sometimes heartbreaking experience as an artist. The moment where struggles with isolation yield a thoughtful, award-winning artwork is so moving. Also moving, that struggling being re-interpreted by her committee as marking her as unsuited for the visual arts--apex and nadir of the arts education experience. Can't wait for future episodes to see what Paschal explores next!
