One of the best!!
This is one of the best horror podcasts you’ll find. Very knowledgeable, true fans of the genre and great chemistry between our two hosts!! 5 STARS!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Strong horror examination marred by Lydia's way of speaking
Big horror fan, love this pod for the most part. The duo has encyclopedic knowledge of the films and offers up some history and behind the scenes nuggets. I've listened to almost a dozen episodes. Vamp, Halloween, and Sleepaway Camp being my favorites. So what's the problem, why 3 Stars?
Lydia's voice sometimes trails off at the end of a sentence and sometimes her commentary sounds like she's mumbling to herself. For me, this is a big detractor and it's something I couldn't put my finger on until the Halloween 2 episode where it was unbearable and I had to skip it. It happens again in Vamp several times, like when she's talking about how hot Billy Drago looks as an Albino Vampire and in the end when they're discussing Panels of Blood. Wes' voice is almost always loud and clear, I wish Lydia could do the same.
Great overall content and if you like horror films, the analysis and history are aces. It's just really hard to hear her sometimes and I find it really aggravating. 3 Stars, Average
