"World Day of Prayer for Vocations" — 4th Sun. of Easter 4/21/24

World Day of Prayer for Vocations and "Good Shepherd Sunday" converge to invite you to consider how you—and all of us—can hear the Universal Call to Holiness and respond to it. Additionally, this special day prompts us to consider how to encourage those who should be open to becoming priests or deacons or members of religious communities. Yes, Jesus the Good Shepherd invites us all to follow him. Yet, let us especially pray for young people to seriously explore God's call for particular roles of service and ministry in the Church. Listen now as Fr. Chuck relates thoughts on vocations from Jesuit Fr. Warren Sazama and the late Holy Cross Sister Margie Lavonis, as well as revealing lighthearted snippets from his own vocation journey.
