Season 2 Episode 14 - The Holy Spirit Calls
This week, Laura asks, "When was a time you needed help?"
Our Bible verse this week is Ephesians 2:8-10
8 God saved you through faith as an act of kindness. You had nothing to do with it. Being saved is a gift from God. 9 It’s not the result of anything you’ve done, so no one can brag about it. 10 God has made us what we are. He has created us in Christ Jesus to live lives filled with good works that he has prepared for us to do. -
Season 2 Episode 13 - The Great Commission
This past week in chapel, we learned about the Great Commission and Vicar Jon asked us what we want to be when we grow up.
Our verse this past week was, Matthew 28:16-20
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” -
Season 2 Episode 12 - He is Risen
Happy Easter! He is Risen!
Our Bible verse this week is John 11:25-26

Season 2 Episode 11 - Holy Week
This week, we discuss how God uses unexpected things, people, and events to accomplish amazing things. We see this the most when Christ is crowned as our King on the Cross.
Our verse this week is John 19:28-30
28 After this, when Jesus knew that everything had now been finished, he said, “I’m thirsty.” He said this so that Scripture could finally be concluded.
29 A jar filled with vinegar was there. So the soldiers put a sponge soaked in the vinegar on a hyssop stick and held it to his mouth.
30 After Jesus had taken the vinegar, he said, “It is finished!”
Then he bowed his head and died. -
Super Size Bonus Episode: The Lord's Supper Part 2
This past Sunday I taught a class for families about the Lord’s Supper. We had a so much fun and families had so many beautiful insites that we had enough content to turn the class into 2 podcast episodes.
In the first episode, we made oobleck, discussed mysteries and paradoxes in scripture and began to talk about the miracle of the Lord’s supper.
In this episode, we dig a little deeper and learn how household leaders can use The Small Catechism to explore when and why we should partake in communion.
