Dead Idea Valhalla ,

Yes to the Don't

I really like this show. Here are concrete things I like about it:

Kole and I have similar tastes in games, both in 50 hour dungeon slog rpgs and IOS games.

Everyone on the show has a pretty intelligent perspective on what makes games good/what makes games bad. It's important to THINK about this rather than just be swept up in fanboy wankery like so much of the gaming press.

Lots of humor, though it is not a comedy podcast. This comes across, to me, a lot in the analogies of Kole and the Gang (band name? workshop this.)

There are a lot of good ideas. I like the idea of quick hits. By limiting the amount of time people have to ramble, you ensure tightness and focus in the conversation. You also don't take up too much real estate on news. In the world of gaming podcasts, everyone is doing a news section and everyone has similar news to work from. Keeping it brief means you distill the segment down to the unique opinions of the group.

On the subject of focus, the listener questions segment helps a lot too.

I have been looking for a good gaming podcast to fill that void and I have found it. THANK YOU, GENTLEMEN.

Man what an amazing show.

Like fine liquor, this show goes down so smooth & yet it has such a succulent kick. You guys are in for an amazing treat to sample Mr. Ross's verbose & informative spin on what turns the Video game industry.

Great Award-Nominated Show

This is a great live show, and transitions very well to a recorded podcast with great editing and an excellent choice of music. Kole is very well spoken, and makes conversations about video games and the culture easy to listen to and enjoy. I really hope that he pursues this outside of college, and will continue to do podcasts in the future. Hit the subscribe button now!
