This week's Stang Gang Podcast features the latest news surrounding Midwestern State Softball with head coach Brittanie Talley.

Midwestern State traveled to Portales, New Mexico, for a contentious series with Eastern New Mexico, and freshman Addison Lindemann picked up two wins in the circle while Kennedy Cameron earned her first save. In the rubber game of the series on Saturday, Lindemann weaved a four-hitter for her first collegiate shutout and connected on a two-run home run in the first inning to lead Midwestern State to a 3-0 win. In her last eight appearances, the Holliday native has won three times while posting a 0.84 ERA dating back to the second game of the UT Tyler series. She has allowed five earned runs on 21 hits in 41 2/3 innings with 28 strikeouts during the stretch. She also has a five-game hitting streak. Allie Monroe enjoyed her second two-homer game of the season at Eastern New Mexico, and she now leads the Mustangs with five home runs and 20 RBIs. Monroe also made her first appearance at first base during the series at Portales.

The Stangs are home for back-to-back series against Western New Mexico and Texas A&M-Kingsville. The Western Mustangs visit MSU for a doubleheader on Saturday and a single game on Sunday. The action starts at noon on both days. TAMUK will play a doubleheader at Mustangs Park on April 9, starting at 4 p.m. The final game with the Javelinas will be played April 10 at 1 p.m.
