DS9 s3e3 “The House of Quark”

A Klingon episode that Matt actually likes? And can a regular, standard fantastic episode get 10 Andys? Have Keiko and O'Brien gone from a couple of wet noodles to Star Trek's horniest couple?

Also, possible SPOILERS for those who practice:

    8:00ish STAR TREK: PICARD

35:00ish-39:00ish STAR TREK (2009) Romulus stuff

Odo meets his people then tosses something into one of his people’s strike zone…or does he? Matt and Andy discuss if people are really a-holes if somebody just dreams about them being a-holes. And now the conclusion.

    DS9 s3e1 “The Search, Part I”

    DS9 s3e1 “The Search, Part I”

There's a new starship in town, and this one's built to kick ass, Federation style! Wait, is that Federation style? Also, Matt and Andy continue to question if, in fact, the Dominion was right.

AND MINOR ALERT: Due to a scheduling mess this month, we're gonna probably be recording "The Search, Pt 2" this Wednesday, although it might take a few days to get it posted, so if you want to listen fast and get your comments in, great! But if you want to comment in the subsequent episode on both, also feel free.]

    DS9 s2e26 “The Jem'Hadar”

It's a high octane thrill-ride of pew-pews! (eventually, and briefly.) Until then, it's a strangely slow farce on a camping trip. Is it fun or dull? Andy and Matt can't agree. And if you're a hailbag skip-per, check out the beginning for A BIG TNC NEWSFLASH!

A Shoop ,

Worth the time

I started to listen to the show to fill the void after leaving another Trek pod. I thought at first it might be something that would get me just through the work commute. I started with Deep Space Nine being that was the show that was airing when I first got into Trek. At first I was lost with all the extras other than the the episode review and started to listen to only the episode reviews for a few shows. After getting use to the guys style I accidentally started a pod while not being able to skip forward to the episode and my life forever changed. All the pre episode review gold I was missing I could not beleave what was wrong with me. I am finishing season one now and know that will be going back to listening to TNG, possibly even more if I get through all of that and get on Patreon. This is a great show and thank you both for entertaining me.

A Modest Proposal

I’ve been listening to TNC since the beginning, and just today learned there is a YouTube channel after an off-hand comment from Matt. How did I not know about these shorts!? Unfortunately, now I want video for full episodes. Someone, please go back and edit all 245 episodes of TNC audio onto their episodes, commentary-style. And don’t forget to pause for all of Matt and Andy’s digressions. Thanks, guys, for 7 1/2 years of fun (if ultimately pointless) conversations!

Badmirals Club?

On the pod Andy and Matt always mention that Admiral’s always call characters by their rank and badmirals always call people by their first names. So since most people say Andy and Matt in their reviews of TNC should it be called the Badmirals club?

Also the POD is fantastic and has been a part of my life since 2017. Finally just joined the patreon (sorry was not sooner) and am looking forward to supporting some of my favorite podcast personalities there as well.
