The Acolyte • Overview: 1st Half of Season I

We're having a great time doing episode by episode coverage of Star Wars: The Acolyte. Now that the show is halfway over, I invited some great Star Wars minds to join me in taking a wider lens to talk about some of the key themes and characters from Season I, Episodes 1-4. Danielle of WrittenInTheStarWars is back, and Brian Kowal makes his first appearance on a podcast about movies and TV! Brian is a local game store owner Magic the Gathering player, commentator, and tournament organizer, as well as a Star Wars superfan. This week, we're giving the bonus content to everyone! In our member bonus section, we did a deep dive into Sol, which turned into such a great discussion that we wanted to share it with all of you. This way, you can get a taste of what members receive every week. If you like it and want to hear more, become a member today!

Great Podcast!

The stranded panda network is great. They have wonderful content, if you haven’t listened to them yet you need to!!!

Hate Speech against Police Officers.

I tuned in to this podcast to listen to discussion on the Andor finale, and was shocked when one of the hosts stated that Imperial Stormtroopers have more restraint than most American cops. I was further shocked when the other host agreed with him. As a police officer myself, I found this very offensive, insulting, hyperbolic, ridiculous, and blatantly untrue. Are there bad cops out there? Yes, and I want all of them brought down HARD. Are most cops bad? Of course not. Most of us are here because we genuinely want to help people and make a positive difference. What you see on the news or in youtube clips is not “most cops,” and it never will be. You should apologize for generalizing a whole group of people you don’t know.

Disappointed-in-Bootant ,

The hosts are without feck

You guys are cowards for not posting my honest reviews of this podcast. Cowards.
