Bruce Maccabee has been active in UFO research since late 1960s when he joined the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena, NICAP and was active in research and investigation until its demise in 1980. He became a member of MUFON in 1975 and was subsequently appointed to the position of state Director for Maryland, a position he still holds. In 1979 he was instrumental in establishing the Fund for UFO Research and was the chairman for the about 13 years. He presently serves on the National Board of the Fund.

An Air Force veteran who held a TOP SECRET/CRYPTO clearance. He has also been apart of both MUFON & the Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS). Tom began investigating aspects of the Roswell Incident in 1991 and has authored or coauthored more than 40 published articles about the Roswell events of 1947, and has contributed to a number of books on the subject as well. Since 1967, Friedman has lectured on the topic of UFOs at more than 600colleges and over 100 professional groups in 50 states, 9 Provinces,England, Italy, Germany, Holland, France, Finland, Brazil, Australia, Korea,Mexico, Turkey, Argentina, and Israel. Often referred to as the "Father of Roswell", Stan was the first to investigate the incident beginning in 1978. He has been investigating UFO incidents since the mid 1950's.
