    Ep 20: Robert

    Ep 20: Robert

SHOW LESSRobert was just like every other homeless we serve on a weekly basis, except for one thing - he liked to paint his nails and wear blouses. He was a quiet mannered, respectful, nice man. He said painting his nails made him feel pretty, and he just wanted to feel pretty sometimes. We love everyone in our ministry, no matter what they are wearing - but we can't say the same for some in our society. On one particular day, some "tough" guys would take it out on Robert for how he was dressed, and Robert's life would never be the same again.  Listen in as Pastor Skip tells the story of Robert.

Ep 19: Fritz. A Toothless Grin And A Thankful Heart

Ep 19: Fritz. A Toothless Grin And A Thankful Heart

She was spotted up head next to the famous Varsity restaurant downtown Atlanta. Old, arthritic, and bound to a wheelchair. After meeting Fritz for the first time, it was clear to Pastor Skip that this lady would be someone to remember. As it happens with most of the people we meet on the street, they bless us more than we can bless them.

And so it was with Fritz - barely any teeth, homeless in a wheelchair, but smiling from ear to ear.  Here is her story.

Ep 18: Lindsay Was A Fighter

Lindsay was a fighter. A man who struggled with drugs most of his life and came to know Christ later in life. During one of our Sunday dinners, Pastor Skip was teaching the Parable of the 4 Soils and God spoke to Lindsay that day. At that moment Lindsay's eternity was changed forever, but his life would still come with many struggles.   His main struggle would always be cocaine, and it would ultimately result in his death, during a drug deal gone wrong.   Listen in on the beautiful story of Lindsay, a friend to Pastor Skip and a brother in Christ.   www.wots4homeless.com/give
