Let’s talk about the nitty gritty of our relationships - our desire for control, to be loved or to earn love, our need to determine outcomes. We’ll see how the root of these strategies is an issue of belief, first and foremost. We’ll discover practical tools to overcome false beliefs and bad habits, and choose Jesus, His way, His truth, and His life instead, so that our relationships with God, with ourselves, and with others can be full of life.

Whatever contradicts God’s Word about us is a lie, whether it be our circumstances, other people, or our own thoughts and feelings. They can seem so real to us because they’re always in front of us. Thankfulness helps us see who God is, and what He says about us, beyond the lies screaming in our faces. Prayers of thankfulness, interconnected with prayers of exchange, are great weapons God gives us as His chosen ones. Practicing them helps us choose our destiny in each moment. The result is harmony, first with God, then within ourselves, and with those around us.

Embrace the Gospel truth in your life and interactions. Let it guide your actions and words, knowing that God is with you always. In moments of crisis, invite Jesus in rather than going it alone. Remember, worship is not just about words; it's about living a life of gratitude. Find strength in knowing that Jesus resides within you, empowering you to be a living message of love and grace. Keep your focus on Him, for He shows us the perfect way forward.

When Jesus enters our hearts, He becomes our first love, guiding us through life's ups and downs. We no longer rely on anger or power to cope; we turn to prayer, worship, and His wisdom. Walking with Jesus means being mindful of our thoughts, knowing we can accept or reject them, and they no longer bind us. Jesus chose you AND the agony of the cross at the exact same time. He gladly chose to give up His life so we could have life. We are the people who Jesus, the Prince of Peace, kisses, and claims as His own in order to heal, give a new heart, and resurrect into a new life. We are not responsible for saving or transforming our own hearts, but we are responsible to surrender our hearts to Jesus and trust only in Him.
