In this Look to See Me podcast episode, Chris Pepple discusses the times when compromise is helpful and when it’s harmful. Sometimes we build community by compromising on issues, but at other times a compromise would be harmful to us. We can learn to say that we deserve safety and respect in our schools, our homes, and our work environment. We deserve respect and equal rights in our community. If we aren’t receiving that, we don’t need to compromise to make others comfortable. We can say that we deserve better.
