NBA and WNBA show why athlete activism matters ft. Michael Lee of the Washington Post
Chris Gasper is talking with The Washington Post’s Michael Lee, who focuses on the intersection of gender, diversity and how sports shape our society. Players across the NBA have been passionate and outspoken advocates for racial equality and social justice, so it shouldn't be a surprise that many spoke out about a double standard after the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. Gasper and Lee cover the ongoing advocacy work of pro athletes, including the landmark impact of the WNBA in a U.S. Senate race. Producer Ellen Fleming jumps in to discuss the WNBA’s campaign in support of Rev. Raphael Warnock, who defeated incumbent senator and WNBA team co-owner, Kelly Loeffler to become Georgia's first Black senator. Also, Lee tackles what he believes could happen with the NBA as players continue to be out of commission due to COVID-19.Follow Chris Gasper and WCVB on Twitter @CGasper & @WCVB

First, Chris is talking with CBS Sports hockey writer Pete Blackburn. They discuss the loss of Bruins legend Zdeno Chara and what that means for the Bruins aging core. Speaking of losing a legend, Chris is joined by ESPN’s Mike Reiss, who helps breakdown what happened this season with the Brady-less Patriots and what's next in an offseason of uncertainty at quarterback and with Bill Belichick's staff.Follow Chris Gasper and WCVB on Twitter @CGasper & @WCVB

With the Celtics season starting, Ellen & Chris discuss The Boston Globe Op-Ed written by the Boston Celtics regarding the use of facial recognition technology by law enforcement. Great interview with Mike Lynch
Love the interaction Chris Gasper had with Mike Lynch on most recent podcast. Great stories from Mike Lynch on his “scoops” & other interesting perspectives on broadcasting in Boston. Liked Chris when he was with Boston Globe & he continues this with the podcast & his WCVB sports segments.
Gasper is great
Chris Gasper is a great podcast host. He allows his guests to make their points but he’s not afraid to disagree or put forth an alternate viewpoint. I love the genuine back and forth - much better than the “takes” that others shows will give you.
Great New England sports pod
Sports news coverage with some levity mixed in
