Ep. 7 of Tales from Quarantine is with Matteo Cupi, executive director of Animal Equality Italy. We talked about his personal story and his mission to end factory farming. Matteo and Animal Equality have launched an international campaign to permanently ban all wet markets worldwide. For animals, wet markets are hell on Earth. For humans, they are incubators of novel diseases and a threat to our health and safety. SARS - a coronavirus - started in a wet market in China in 2003 and - scientists said - one of Wuhan's wet markets is the possible origin of COVID-19. Listen to the podcast to learn more about wet markets, Animal Equality, and the #BanWetMarkets campaign.
