Since 2015 Andrea has been working on the Climate Art Project, a traveling art project - designed to fight climate change and based on his research on Nature-Based Solutions - that took him all over the world. Ep. 7 of Tales from Quarantine is with Matteo Cupi, executive director of Animal Equality Italy. We talked about his personal story and his mission to end factory farming. Matteo and Animal Equality have launched an international campaign to permanently ban all wet markets worldwide. For animals, wet markets are hell on Earth. For humans, they are incubators of novel diseases and a threat to our health and safety. SARS - a coronavirus - started in a wet market in China in 2003 and - scientists said - one of Wuhan's wet markets is the possible origin of COVID-19. My guest of this episode of Tales from Quarantine is Clara, geographer and human right activist. She's one of the young milanese volunteers who started Brigate Volontarie Per l'Emergenza at the beginning of the lockdown: 9 brigades - one for each district of Milan - that go grocery shopping for the elderly and the sick, deliver meds, and offer psychological support to everyone in need.
