Like A Fun Retro Hammer Film!

I honestly didn’t think I’d make it through a whole episode at first - I love the old Hammer monster films from the 1960’s, and since this was set in an old (assumedly hidden) tavern filled with classic horror figures, I threw it on for background while I keyword searched for hard-to-find podcasts.

The round table discussion was nice - entertaining arguments, witty repertoire between the ancient old Dracula and the eternally svelte Lady In White; which led to one of the ‘Creatures Of The Night’ going into a narrative: relating a horror story to the rest of the group.

THIS was the moment I instantly became a fan of this Tavern podcast: I swear it felt like a modern, updated version of “The Monster Club” - and that’s a Good Thing; something that I can really welcome into my life. I put on an episode when I’m stressed or depressed, and it really does make me feel a little better to close my eyes and return to this lovely little piece of fictitious fun. A true Five Star podcast.
