Get to Know Lupita:
Lupita is a bilingual Chicana psychotherapist raised in predominantly black and brown communities in Southern California. She is the sole owner of the Therapy of the Sun, a private practice located in Norwalk, California.
Therapy of the Sun is a Latina-owned small business that offers individual therapy to young professionals of color residing in California. She specializes in working with impostor phenomenon (syndrome) and healing generational wounds that may influence the experience.
It is common for the BIPOC community to experience feelings of self-doubt, people-pleasing, and perfectionism, but in my line of work we are not overlooking the impacts of institutional racism, system oppression, generational trauma, the first gen experience, and individualized experiences; these all have huge impacts on one's personal experience with impostor phenomenon.
Other services offered in and outside of California are interactive workshops, webinars, and additional speaking engagements for the community.
