The Zionist case for a ceasefire.

The Zionist case for a ceasefire.

On today's special Friday episode, Tangle founder and CEO Isaac Saul makes the case for a ceasefire — through both the humanitarian and Zionist lens. Saul, an American Jew and a self-described Zionist, explains why Israel's military operation is making Israelis and Jews less safe, while also damaging the future for Israelis and Palestinians. As always, please feel free to share, and if you have thoughts, you can write to him at isaac@readtangle.com.

    Trump wins South Carolina primary.

The South Carolina primary. On Saturday, former President Donald Trump defeated former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in the state's primary election by roughly 20 points. Trump received 59.8% of the vote to Haley's 39.5%, with Ron DeSantis — who had dropped out — getting 0.4% of the vote. Trump has now won nearly every delegate in the 2024 Republican presidential primary, all but assuring his victory heading into Super Tuesday on March 5.

    Alabama's IVF ruling.

    Alabama's IVF ruling.

Alabama's IVF ruling. Last week, Alabama's Supreme Court ruled in favor of a group of couples suing an Alabama storage facility under the state's wrongful death law after their frozen embryos were lost in an accident. The groundbreaking ruling, in a case dubbed LePage v. Center for Reproductive Medicine, P.C., treated the embryos as children who should be afforded certain legal protections, a theory championed by some anti-abortion groups that has now gotten its first validation from a major U.S. court.

Love this podcast

I feel like there are some, sound, original view points.

Hosting O’Reilly Elevates Him and Denigrates Tangle

Otherwise a 5 star podcast. I love Isaac’s willingness to consider all viewpoints. That said, Bill O’Reilly has earned a well deserved exile in the wilderness. Between the credible reports of serial sexual exploitation and his dated retrograde conservative viewpoints, he doesn’t merit time on this highly credible podcast. There are a multitude of modern conservative thinkers who are much less morally bankrupt. Please do better.

This is what journalism should be

Isaac does deeper-dive analyses on one major headline each day, presenting facts, known liberal and conservative spin, and his own opinion where he acknowledges his own biases. It has made me feel like I have the full context in about 10-20 minutes.

Tangle is overall just rational. While I don’t always agree with Isaac’s Take, I always respect where he is coming from and understand his logic.

10/10. Recommend.
