#2 ON SCREEN RANT'S LIST OF "10 BEST STAR WARS PODCASTS FOR FANS, RANKED!" TOP 100 ON APPLE PODCASTS "ENTERTAINMENT NEWS" CHARTS IN US, UK, CANADA, AUSTRALIA AND MORE!

"Although it doesn't focus on Star Wars exclusively, discussion about the Star Wars universe still makes up a large portion of the content in this podcast. Despite dipping their toes into the MCU, DC, etc. the Star Wars content in no way takes a backseat and is just as in-depth and detailed as any Star Wars exclusive content out there...This is a great podcast for those who are interested in Star Wars but still like to have a break to talk about their other favorite movie franchises as well." - Matthew Flores, ScreeRant.com

Tatooine Sons is a positive, family-friendly podcast hosted by David Jesse and his two teenage sons, Sam (20) and Nathan (16). We believe that pop-culture is the mythology of this generation. There is a story written on our souls. These myths speak to that story.

Star Wars | MCU | DC | Comicbooks | LOTR | Cobra Kai

Tatooine Sons was launched in December 2017 at "Tatooine Sons: A Star Wars Podcast." In December of 2018, Nathan asked Rian Johnson, the writer/director of "The Last Jedi": "What is the name of the porg on the Millennium Falcon?"

Rian Johnson responded: "What do YOU think his name is?" When Nathan answered, "Maybe Terbus?" no one really believed the character would become official. But after a year and a half #MakeTerbusCanon campaign on social media, the character was officially named in the all-ages comic book series "Star Wars Adventures," issues 27-29. (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Terbus)

Tatooine Sons is hosted by David (the dad) , Samuel and Nathan. We love how pop-culture helps us see that there is something bigger in the world. We discuss Star Wars, the MCU, DC, comicbooks, the Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Cobra Kai and pretty much anything else pop-culture related through the lens of modern mythology and the "greater story" we believe this mythology points toward.

Do You Want A Season 2 of Obi Wan Kenobi?

    This Week on Tatooine Sons:

Part 6 of Obi Wan Kenobi delivered perfectly on all of the wishes and desires we had going into the series. In reality, it was stunning. We talk about all of the reasons why. But the BIG question is whether this series should get a second season. Don't be so quick to answer "yes."

Why Anakin Skywalker Could Never Be A Master

Why Anakin Skywalker Could Never Be A Master

    This Week on Tatooine Sons:

Part 5 of Obi Wan Kenobi gave Star Wars fans the special treat they've been waiting for: a flashback sequence showing Anakin Skywalker. But this episode also revealed the reason why the conflict between Darth Vader and Ben Kenobi at the close of Part 3 of the series didn't break canon. In reality, Part 5 showed us that Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader NEVER became the Master.

We'll discuss this along with a closer look at Vecna in Stranger Things, Seasons 1-3, and how Grant Gustin could replace Ezra Miller as The Flash in the DCEU.

Obi Wan Kenobi is Poetry...It Rhymes

Obi Wan Kenobi is Poetry...It Rhymes

We started suspecting it after Part 3. But when we watched Part 4 of Obi Wan Kenobi, it was undeniable: each new part of the series is mirroring events in the corresponding Episode of the Skywalker Saga of Star Wars.

In this episode, we look at these parallels and predict where this goes in Parts 5 and 6.

PLUS: Our first impressions of Ms. Marvel and our reaction to Stranger Things 4: Part 1.

Refreshing Podcast

Let’s be honest, there are a lot of toxic, podcasts out there in the nerddom. Tatooine Sons is the opposite of that. A podcast that isn’t afraid to be honest about their opinions, but always does so through the lens of how much they love Star Wars, MCU, etc. Highly recommend!

Love Live Turbus!

The best Podcast Ever!

Let me start out saying this is the best podcast in the galaxy! Me and my mom were going on a couple of airplane rides, and my mom decided to download me some podcasts. My mom was looking and she found this great, family friendly podcast where a dad and his two sons talk about Star Wars. I started listening and I was addicted immediately! The conversations between David, Sam and Nate are interesting and fun to listen to and are even better when they are joined by guests. They even talk about Marvel and DC movies and shows! I recommend this podcast for any Pop Culture fan!
