An American, a Canadian, and an Irish woman walk into a living room, hit record, and start talking about all the things "nice girls" are not supposed to say in polite conversation. We're not nice girls, we're That Kind of Girl, and it's time we stopped sealing our lips.
Hey! It's Caitlin Cook (the American one), Niki Davis (the Canadian one), and Róisín Nic Ghearailt (the Irish one). We're your hosts of That Kind of Girl, the anti-shaming podcast where we openly discuss that which is still taboo to talk about and tackle topics such as sex positivity in the modern age, intersectional feminism, enthusiastic consent, rape culture, masturbation, the spectrum of sexuality, polyamory, transgenderism, pornography, sexwork, religion's effects on the ways in which we view sex, and the state of sex education, health, and legislation regarding women's rights in all three of our countries. With a feminist twist in all our discussions, we interweave how the patriarchy impacts our existence, and we examine our path towards becoming more enlightened, more empowered women.
And as we share our own stories and help to highlight those of our guests, we also love sharing yours every other week on our mini episodes, so please continue to write to us. Thank you for listening, for sharing your stories with us, and—of course—for never yucking anyone's yum.

19 - Goodbye
Sadly, we're parting ways. In this final episode, we (Caitlin Cook, Niki Davis, and Róisín Nic Ghearailt) discuss how to be better people, what our next steps are, and what we've learned from this podcast. Caitlin has new music and comedy coming out, a new podcast she's working on, and a packed tour schedule; Niki is writing a bi-weekly sex advice column, starting to counsel people and couples with sex-related issues, and considering applying to do a PhD and writing her dissertation about fetishes; and Roisin is moving back across the pond to pursue her master's degree as well as continue to write her book. Unashamed and unapologetic, this is That Kind of Girl, the podcast where we talk about all the things "nice girls" are not supposed to say in polite conversation.

These girls ROCK. SO. HARD.
I love this pod so much!! These women are smart and funny and so so SO OPEN about their own sexual and emotional stories from the past that you really realize how NOT ALONE we all are. It’s a beautiful thing, and I think it’s so important to have more of THESE KINDS of voices being heard everywhere, everyday, all the time. And that OPENING SONG won’t get out of my head!! It’s so catchy! And did you all notice that at the end of each episode there is a NEW ORIGINAL song based on the theme of that episode?????? I mean WHAAAAAAA?!?!? And goddamn those are catchy too!! Can’t rave enough, love this so much. GET TO LISTENING.

Dude, sooooooooo good. Caitlin, Niki and Roisin have a great rapport and each bring different, interesting perspectives to convos about issues facing women right now. This pod is filling a void I didn’t even know I had, it’s so good!!
