This should have been called Cheyenne’s Diary, as she uses this platform to vent, release, heal, and impact young black women in entertainment. She speaks on climbing out of the sunken place, self doubt, people pleasing, and learning the art of not giving a f**k. Cheyenne talks about her journey so far being back in Virginia since the pandemic. She loves to hate it, but she knows it’s teaching her great lessons to get her right back where she started. BUT, with knowledge this time, being that she just turned 30… In hopes of being a city girl again, she has to take her time this time & appreciate everything that’s bringing her back to what she appreciates most. Cheyenne points out that the gender roles rivalry has stirred the pot to separate us even more. Social media plays a huge part, especially in the black community. Yes we are trying to unlearn from our past generation, but did it make it better or worst? Especially for each gender because we both have something to say.. & this is Cheyenne’s take on it.
