The Lies We Belive and Our Identity in Christ Can Set Us Free with Dr. JP Jones

The Lies We Belive and Our Identity in Christ Can Set Us Free with Dr. JP Jones

Unlock the secrets of your true purpose and potential as my pastor and husband, Dr. JP Jones joins me in a profound exploration of identity in Christ.
JP often says, “The truest thing about you is what God says is true.” In my experience, most of us nod our heads in agreement with this but find it hard to believe in real life. Instead, we believe what others say about us, what culture tells us, or what our experiences dictate. As a result, we live in bondage–oftentimes completely unaware of just how shackled we are!
This episode is a journey toward spiritual emancipation, where we discuss not just the liberating power of grace and truth but also the practice of internalizing these gifts to free ourselves from the crippling weights of guilt, shame, and the lies we believe about ourselves. JP shares pearls of wisdom from his book "Facing Goliath," guiding us through the importance of framing our belief systems in alignment with the infallible truth of Scripture.
Together, we address the victories, the challenges, and the unyielding love that comes with being reborn in Christ—empowering you to walk in the fullness of the freedom and authority bestowed upon you as a beloved child of God.

Ever so Thankful

Donna is an absolute inspiration for me. Her Bible knowledge is amazing and so practical. The scriptures she teaches on are so powerful and yet perfect for the day or season I’m walking through. I have cried, laughed, and rejoiced listening to this podcast. I encourage everyone to put on God’s word daily and this is a great place to start!

Best way to start the day!

I listen to this podcast every morning and it feels like I’m getting advice from a motherly friend. I got my mom into this podcast and it has been changing our conversations and has brought us closer. I have learned to be a better wife, friend, youth leader, and person. When I finally listen to all the episodes, I’ll definitely be starting over! Can’t recommend this podcast enough!!
