Day 130: Nathan Condemns David (2024)
Fr. Mike touches on the sins of David, and how we can see ourselves in these fallen characters in scripture. God desires a relationship with us free from sin, and although it may be painful, he brings these things into the light not out of anger, but out of love. Day 129: David Commits Adultery (2024)

Day 127: Kindness for the House of Saul (2024)

Day 126: David's Victories (2024)
Fr. Mike emphasizes how King David's victories in battle are part of his calling to establish Israel as a kingdom. Day 125: Covenant with David (2024)
Fr. Mike highlights the moment God makes a covenant with David, promising him an everlasting dynasty, but reserving the building of the Temple to David's son Solomon. This is a good podcast if you are doing confirmation .And also ssd
Honestly great
I am in no way outwardly religious or a fully functioning and practicing Catholic. I started to see my children really enjoy Easter Sundays so I started to take that as a good move to get back into scripture.
I found a very good Catholic Bible and stumbled upon Ascension stuff on this podcast, YouTube, and their very easy to use App. I listen during work since I use my hands and love listening to audiobooks. Might as well utilize a bit of that time to re-learning scripture.
Father Mike, Jeff, and others in their YouTube channel really make it easier to digest a lot of the scripture that is mostly heard but not understood.
Being mostly in the Baptist region of Florida it is nice to find a decent way to listen and enjoy scripture instead of being forced by guilt lead group think. It’s nice.
I’ll be following as long as I can manage so thank you all for this.
