The ABC's of Rock Podcast is hosted by Nathan Suher, just a regular guy with a passion for all things that fall under the umbrella of Rock & Roll. Some episodes feature in deep dives into the back catalogue of the musicians that have shaped the landscape of music of the past 60 years. Other episodes feature top ten lists, featured genres of rock, or just simply a fun topic. Either way, Nathan always delivers an entertaining and insightful show with lots of great music and his own flair for sharing his thoughts on the songs.

There is one correction I need to make. I reference an album by Queen 'A Day At the Races'. It was very late and I meant to say their album 'A Night At the Opera'.
Thank you for being a loyal listener. It has been an honor to be your hosts this past year and a half.
I do not own the rights to any of the music played on this podcast. The musicians or the music labels own the copyright. I play this music under the doctrine of Fair Use. I am not here as a DJ, but to offer music commentary and criticism. My goal is for you to gain a larger appreciation for the bands or the musicians played here on this podcast and I ask for you to go out and purchase their music or legally stream it. The musicians need your support and I hope this show contributes to spreading the good word about the bands you hear on these episodes. I do not profit in any way from this podcast. It is truly done out of my pure love of the music.

Garbage - "Masochistic Victim Sadist" - Episode 65
It is good to be back after taking a week off from the show. Before anything else I want to thank all of you for being loyal listeners to The ABC's of Rock. I've been dedicated to this show for a 65+ episodes, since the very start of the pandemic. Today though I make the announcement that I will be taking a step back from producing this podcast. I get into it in more detail in the show. However, I encourage you to not unsubscribe, I may still update this feed with new content every now and then.
Today I bring back my favorite co-host and my daughter Chloe who I was excited to share my love for 90's alt-rockers Garbage. It's actually wrong to peg them as just a 90's band because they've continued to put out quality music throughout the new millennium, including their latest record, No Gods, No Masters which came out this past June. I curate my 10 favorite underrated/under-appreciated tracks from their entire discography for your listening pleasure. Enjoy!

The ABC's of Pop Metal - Episode 64
For a brief period of time Pop Metal (or some some referred to it as Glam Metal or Hair Metal) ruled the charts. On this weeks show I curate great songs from some of my favorite bands that aren't named Poison, Kiss, or Motley Crue. So grab your bottle of Jack Daniels, tease out your hair, and crank of up the volume on today's episode!

Stellar podcast
Love this podcast. Nathan focuses on music from the bands I love, but doesn't play the tired hits you only hear on the radio. Plus he offers a cool perspective on the music, with some great facts and trivia. Solid well produced show!
