Women Really Do It Better
Africalypso brings a similar fun and energy of a podcast that used to be around and also hosted by 3 Nigerian born women that I have been missing since 2018. I am so happy to hear and learn from the fabulous hosts along with their guests. No episode is a dud, if I had the ability to award this podcast I surely would. Keep up the great work!
A Brilliant Nigerian View of the World!
One of the great benefits of podcasts is that there's a podcast for everything. And that holds true here: Africalypso is a fantastic talkshow-style podcast on the issues of our day from a Nigerian perspective, a POV many of us in the U.S. don't often hear or consider. So it was a pleasure to discover this show and to hear its hosts banter their way through issues of matriarchal culture, African cinema, mental health, Nigerian culture, social issues of the day, and so much more!
If you're Nigerian, this show will obviously appeal to you. If you're not, it should appeal to you anyway because it gives you a glimpse into another point of view. And that's worth its weight in gold pressed latinum.
