    Episode 18: Card Pairs

    Episode 18: Card Pairs

In this episode, we return from yet another period of inactivity, following a rather tumultuous beginning to 2021 for many of us. In Episode 18 of the Alacrael Tarot Podcast, we dive deeper into the concept of card pairs and a couple of methods which can be employed to interpret them. Whether you take an approach more based on the key-word meanings of the individual cards within the pair, or combine them on a more artistic level in your mind's eye, the best approach to interpreting card pairs (or any other element of a tarot spread, for that matter) is to leaven the standardized meanings with your own living intuition. Episode 17: Halloween & Samhain 2020

In this episode, we return from a period of inactivity, during which at least one major life event occurred. Alacrael has moved out of California! He is thrilled to have settled into his new home to an extent that allows for podcasting, and just in time for Halloween / Samhain! What could be better? Join us as Alacrael counts down his lift of top 11 spookiest cards in the Tarot, briefly discusses mediumship and contacting the dead, and delivers two oracle card readings from the Halloween Oracle (by Stacey Demarco) on manifesting strategies for the elements and how the end of 2020 may look for us. Episode 16: Astrology

    Episode 16: Astrology

In this episode, we depart from our standard tarot content in favor of a more peripheral topic, but one which I still think has a great deal of value for us as readers — Astrology. Have you ever wondered how horoscopes are written? Do you incorporate astrological meanings into your tarot practice? Have you ever taken a look at your birth chart or had it interpreted? All these topics lie ahead in a nice, long discussion geared toward the beginner or intermediate student of astrology. Whether this is something you’ve been curious about for a while, or a modality you had not yet considered for your own practice, I invite you along as we dive into a realm of stars, signs, and planets! Episode 15: Spread Creation

    Episode 15: Spread Creation

In this episode, we will be going over a listener-selected topic: spread creation! How do we make up new tarot spreads? How do we incorporate them into our own practice? Is a more structured approach better than a more unstructured approach? We'll touch on all this and more, and we’ll finish with my casting a custom tarot spread as an example which hopefully reveals a timely message for us. So great , thumbs up from NYC .

I was just gifted my first ever Tarot deck and I’m so glad that the universe gifted me with this podcast because I stumbled upon it and I could listen to Alacrael’s voice all the live long day! Great, in depth descriptions of the cards and little side notes on what I consider important topics that keep the analysis (?) of each card a little more current. It could be a little overwhelming at first to go through 78 cards and not be sure if you’ll ever really understand them but this podcast has helped me immensely. Thanks so much:)

Mildly Chapped ,

AMAZING Resource!

This podcast rocks! If you're new to tarot, you'll appreciate having another way to study the cards. There are so many books and youtube videos out there, but it's nice to have a podcast with a host who takes the time to describe the images and symbols of the cards and lay out their meanings in an easy to follow, entertaining way. Alacrael's use of personal experiences and anecdotes makes it even more applicable to my practice. I listen to this while I'm driving to work, and I learn something new from every episode! Can't wait for the next one!
