God does not command us to love Him so He receives our love. God commands us to love Him so we are open to receiving His.

Following Jesus means living like Jesus—and the longer we follow Jesus, the greater our desire to know Him will grow. 

If we are created in God’s image, we should rightly represent who our God is. 

Just as God instructed Adam in the Garden, Moses instructed Israel as they entered the Promised Land. However, our focus should not be on following the rules—but on following Jesus.

How is my life impacted by the fact that a Jewish man died, was buried, and rose from the dead 2,000 years ago?
The resurrection matters today because it proves Jesus can be believed, forces everyone to make a decision, and provides followers with purpose and hope.

Jesus needed to ride a donkey because He was determined to live in subjection to the Word of God. The life of Jesus is the way of life for His followers.
