    In episode #4 Isaiah and Dr. Imani discuss GRIEF. In less than a year, Dr. Imani’s Grandfather, Mother and Grandmother all died within months of each other. Through their own healing and quests for hope and happiness, they have been able to move from paralyzing pain to finding their purpose.

    They are joined by Dr. Allen E. Lipscomb, an Associate Professor of psychology and the Director of the Minority Male Mentoring program at California State University Northridge. He specializes in providing anti-oppressive and inclusive mental health services to individuals, children, youth, and families of color.

He posts self-help, and motivational content from the perspective of a Dad on social media!

    His content spans topics like faith, situational comedy, life skills and more. Much of his content covers his Christian life, general life skills and advice, family interactions, dating, and more. He has appeared as a guest on The Today Show and Tamron Hall and has been featured in other publications from CNN ABC and more. Summer has accrued almost 6 million fans across his social media platforms.

His unique approaches have facilitated his success in sitting with clients to aid them, navigate and push back on complex social structures, which have historically eroded people’s ability to even access basic needs.
