Beck Bubenheimer-Schiavo has only been allowed to drink beer for two years.  The Michigan-born Neuroscience grad is now working on her PhD in Molecular Pharmacology... Oh, and she has THOUSANDS of followers on social media for her posts as "A Girl Rates Beer"!!
For episode 39 of The Beerpod, Teddy sits down with Beck and talks  Craft Beers from A-Z and also asks the question; "how the heck did her popularity has grow so quickly?"

Ken Grossman is widely known as the Godfather of American Pale Ale.  He created it in Chico, CA at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and the world of Craft Beer in America began to grow.  
A few years ago, Sierra Nevada opened up their east coast brewery in Mills River, NC.  T.W. Moore, one of the Lead Brewers joins Teddy for yet another great story not only about the liquid, but one of a "Hometown Boy done good" as well.  Moore Grew up in Mills River it's likely he'll never move from there considering his love of his hometown and his passion for the beer he brews!! 
Sierra Nevada Chicago Area Sales Manager Patrick Von Feldt joins in on the fun as the three toast, talk and tear up with laughter!!

Since 2006, Vander Mill has gone from a small "cider and donut" idea in Spring Lake, Michigan to a full-on Cidery in Grand Rapids, with distribution throughout the Midwest!  Paul and his wife Amanda have something special going on and we enjoy the rewards of their fruits (specifically, Michigan apples)!

For the past 14 years, Jerry Vietz has been Master Brewer at Unibroue and he continues to not only produce the brewery staples, but push the envelope daily with explosions of flavors.
Jerry is perhaps one of the most interesting and impressive humans to grace the mic of The Beerpod.  He is not just a brewer.  He is essentially the quintessential renaissance man! 
An expert in beer, wine and cider, Jerry's talents are not limited to liquids!  He and his wife have chosen to live a completely self-sufficient lifestyle while raising their three sons.  Sheep, pigs, homemade soap and beer, of course, are part of Teddy's conversation with the French-Canadian genius.  It's a conversation that will have you running to the pub for a Unibroue beer, but may also have you re-evaluate your life!!

Happy 20th Anniversary FOUNDERS BREWING!  Episode 35 features this Grand Rapids, MI Brewery that has grown to producing over 420,000 Barrels per year, distributing to 46 states!  Teddy sits down with V.P. of Marketing, Trent McCurren and they are also joined by Chicago Sales Rep Rick Wildt.  
It was party time at Sheffield's Beer and Wine Garden as we celebrated the first tapping of the their coveted CBS (Canadian Breakfast Stout)!

Since 1988, the people of Bend, OR have been enjoying delicious brews along the banks of the Deschutes River.  As the family and employee-owned brewery approaches it's 30th Anniversary, there are no signs of slowing down.  Teddy sits down with Veronica Vega, Deschutes Master Brewer since 2015 and they talk beer (of course), culture and even Spotted Owls!  Yeah, just give it a listen, because this one one entertaining evening!!
