During WWII, Lt. John Low, Jr, was shot down over Occupied Holland. He spent 11 months evading capture due to the selfless efforts of the Dutch Underground. “After a 96-hour war, Holland capitulated to Germany in May of 1940, but while the Dutch Government was forced to lay down its arms in the face of Hitler’s mighty armies, the people and underground fought on until they witnessed the defeat of this enemy.”-John Low, JrThanks to Swing Republic for the opening music. The brave Dutch
This is one of the most interesting stories we have ever heard. Showed us love of country.
I truly great story
I have been listening to this podcast since it aired. I look forward to each episode and this last one episode 7 gave me chills and made me choke up a bit. Rhes is an amazing story teller who makes you feel like you are right next to his grandfather hiding out from the Jerrys in a cramped room. I can’t wait until the next episode.
