The Bi Pod is a podcast about all things bisexual. We are here to talk about our own identities, respond to bisexual represenation in media, and talk to awesome guests about their queer experiences and relationships with bisexuality.

We welcome anyone who has any kind of relationship with or curiosity about queerness. We define bisexuality as experiencing attraction both to people who share your gender identity and to those who don't.

Getting Bi - Queerness, Music, and Mental Health in Crazy Ex Girlfriend

Getting Bi - Queerness, Music, and Mental Health in Crazy Ex Girlfriend

This week, we’re talking about the television show Crazy Ex Girlfriend! In addition to being hilarious, smart, and out of the box, this show is very, very queer, which we love to see! There are three explicitly bisexual characters! While the show ran for four seasons (a surprise for Christina, who thought she’d seen the whole thing), we’ve recently rewatched the first couple of seasons so we mostly discuss those. The links below contain spoilers for season three! You can read about Darryl’s bisexuality and our anthem, Gettin’ Bi, here: https://www.themarysue.com/crazy-ex-girlfriend-gettin-bi/ You can read more about the show’s queer characters here: https://bi.org/en/articles/the-unicorn-scale-crazy-ex-girlfriend-part-2***Support us on Patreon and get exclusive access to cool stuff here: https://www.patreon.com/thebipodFor more content sent right to your inbox every month, subscribe to The Bi Pod Bulletin. Fun and wholesome Bi content

The first episode introduces us to two delightful Bi guests and I’m looking forward to hearing what comes next. At a time when I have little access to my local Queer and Bi community, it’s heart-warming to listen to this Bi pod. In ~20 years as an out Bi/Queer person I’ve rarely if ever been offered specifically Bi content, so I’m glad the hosts decided to add their voices to the conversation.
