Beginnings
This episode begins with God creating the universe and everything in it and concludes with the beginning of the story of Jesus from the gospel account of Mark.

The Fall and Promised King
Continuing in Genesis we read the story of sin and evil entering the world and the devastation it causes, but also we read about God's promised one who would come to save the world.

The Flood & New Life
The story of Noah and the flood is our starting point today and then we read about Jesus doing miracles and showing us how he is calling to himself a new people by his grace.

Covenant, Confusion, Parables
God makes a Covenant(promise) with Noah and the world that he would never flood the world again, signified by the rainbow. This is followed by a description of families of nations and the Tower of Babel where different languages came to be. And then we hear Jesus teach in parables, truths about God and us.

Abram & Jesus
We meet Abram today and see a mixture of faith and fear in him that reminds us that the bible isn't a collection of people who's behaviour we are to imitate, but a story that leads to Jesus who uses his power to heal, restore and give life!

The God Who Sees, Promises & Provides
We begin with Abram and Sarah taking matters into their own hands, which leads to misery for all. But God appears and shows himself to be a God who sees and also a God who promises grace and mercy. And we conclude this episode seeing how Jesus is the answer to the promises made and how he provides in miraculous and loving ways!
