Gondek is a good interviewer who picks interesting authors and books. To date this podcast has been sporadic in the timing of its publication. Interviews would be improved if the host had a deeper knowledge of literary history.
Bad Sound
John Wayne is my favorite and I read and listen to everything I can get my hands on to learn more about this great American hero and icon. Yet your broadcast on December 1, 2017 had very bad sound quality. The lady who was talking sounded list she was spitting into the microphone. Was there no microphne filter? I had to turn it off. I hope your future broadcasts don't have the speaker sound like their spitting. Takes away from a speaker quality. Thank you. I'm sure you'll fix this problem. John Wayne would have been very disappointed to listen.
