Depends on the guest...

Bunting is pretty reliable — if you like her writing, you’ll probably like her talking. She’s good at catching things I would miss in shows and cases which makes this podcast useful, and there’s an occasional line that is just hilarious.

Unfortunately, the quality of an episode hinges on whomever she’s got on the line. Some guests are fine, but there are a couple of Very Sexy Babies who don’t seem any more insightful or talented than your most basic co-worker. I’m sad to say that the worst guest of all is her husband. The man is lost without a script and he can’t think quietly; he takes up the aural space with hemming and hawing and Daffy Duck stutters. It’s uncomfortable. He’s also kind of rude to Sars. I wouldn’t have expected her to end up with a guy like him. Very strange. Maybe skip those episodes.

I love this show! Really great current topics and show reviews & a perfectly salty host. I just wish the briefs were full shows. Sarah is just awesome! In real life I would totally hang out with her. Seriously one of my favorite true crime et al podcasts 😻

Can you stop saying “like”??!! So juvenile! What cave were you people in to have not been aware of this case?
