Common Ground: Bipartisan Efforts To Hold the Secret Service Accountable
Following the assassination attempt on former President Trump's life, Democrats and Republicans on Capitol Hill immediately got to work investigating the Secret Service's failures on that nearly fatal Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania. After Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle was unable to answer many of Congress' tough questions during a House Oversight Committee hearing earlier this week, she ultimately resigned — but what more can be done to ensure the Secret Service, local law enforcement, and other federal agencies can prevent something like this from happening again in the future?
Leaders of the House Oversight Committee, Congressman Jamie Raskin (D-MD) and Congressman James Comer (R-KY) discuss how they're working across the aisle to instill corrective measures in agencies like the Secret Service and ensure the safety of all presidential candidates in the future.

Another Historic Week As Vice President Harris Steps Into the Spotlight
President Biden announced he was withdrawing from the race for the White House and endorsing his Vice President Kamala Harris. Vice President Harris quickly secured endorsements from nearly all major players in the Democratic Party. Now, as Vice President Harris enters the spotlight in a race that looks to be tighter than the original Trump-Biden matchup, political analysts are looking closer into her record as she looks to make a new choice for a Vice-Presidential nominee in the coming weeks.
For a conversation on this and more, Bret sits down with FOX News Political Analyst, Juan Williams, FOX News Senior White House Correspondent, Peter Doocy, and Editor At-Large at The Spectator & Host of The Ben Domenech Podcast, Ben Domenech.

How Are Wisconsin Voters Reacting To The RNC?
In recent months, Americans have witnessed a former President face criminal conviction, talks of an incumbent presidential nominee stepping down, and most recently a horrific assassination attempt on former President Trump that was nearly a success. Amidst the chaos, where do voters stand? And do they see a light at the end of the tunnel that is America's uncertain political future?
Bret sits down with three Wisconsin voters, Jessie Cannizzaro, Richard Gagliano, and Sarah Grooms, who he spoke with shortly before the first Republican presidential debate in August of 2023, to see where their heads are at now after all that's happened since, and what issues are currently at the front of their minds.

All-Star Panel: Reporting Live From the RNC
The Republican National Convention continues in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in the midst of a very somber time for the country. Former President Trump was well received by the crowd in his first appearance in the public eye following the assassination attempt against him. Americans also got news many had been waiting months for: Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH), who used to be a major critic of the former President and has since turned the tide to fiercely supporting him, has been chosen to stand beside former President Trump as the vice presidential nominee.
As the RNC carries on and speculation on whether President Biden will step down continues, Bret is joined by former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, co-host of 'The Five' and Democratic strategist Jessica Tarlov, and FOX News Radio Political Analyst Josh Kraushaar to break it all down.

Common Ground: Restoring The Common Good
In the face of immense polarization, a record level of Americans are grappling with depression and anxiety – navigating life in a country they don't believe in regardless of their political stance. Luckily, there are people on Capitol Hill determined to put a stop to this.
Governor Spencer Cox (R-UT) and Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) join Bret to explain how their new initiative, 'Restoring the Common Good,' aims to address growing social and political dissatisfaction in the United States, the role they believe social media has played in society's declining mental health, and how they believe their efforts can create dialogue that addresses the growing distrust of the government.

All-Star Panel: President Biden's Competency Takes the World Stage
There are growing calls within the Democratic Party for President Biden to step down, with seven House Democrats directly calling on the President to give up the nomination. However, President Biden is saying he plans on being his party's nominee despite the divided opinions Americans have about his competency. Now, President Biden is being put to the test in front of world leader's as the United States hosts this week's NATO Summit, where his performance could cause him to sink or swim.
To discuss all this and more, Bret is joined by Washington Bureau Chief of USA Today Susan Page, FOX News Senior Congressional Correspondent Chad Pergram, and former State Department Spokesperson & founder of POLARIS National Security Morgan Ortagus.

Good guests, poor audio
Generally a good balanced show with differing views. I do wish Bret Baier would put in his teeth to improve the quality of the audio.
Great content
I absolutely love the content and enjoy listening to all the speakers you have on this show, my only complaint is that it is very difficult to listen to Brett while he is wearing whatever mouthpiece is in his mouth
Is there anyway that could be removed while recording this podcast?
