The Broad Street Bully Podcast combines Flyers talk with enough banter that makes it seem like you're hanging out with some friends watching the game. This weekly uncensored podcast brings together comedian Drew Pabhsky, resident statistician Jeff, and Diabetic Doyle to share their opinions on the Philadelphia Flyers, anecdotes from their every day lives, and enough debauchery that you'll want to listen with headphones. Whether it's the three of them, or them with additional guests who share their love of the orange and black, this podcast is not your typical terrestrial radio show. Yadadadadaaaaaa
great podcast despite Doyle’s diabetes struggles.
Jeff’s comedic takes blend well with Drew’s classic rock and history knowledge making this the most well rounded Philly Hockey podcast on the interwebs
Not to sound critical but....
Take the 5 stars with a grain of salt. This podcast is about as mediocre as the flyers defense and I only listen because I hate myself and I deserve to be tortured. I’ve also watched every single Flyers game this season for the same reason. In the off chance that the show is actually produced well enough to hear, their voices sound like covid for my ears. And they always release their pods too far after recording. Who doesn't love hearing predictions for a game you’ve already seen? It does help to confirm their glaring lack of knowledge. Fortunately, I don’t absorb too much of the verbal diarrhea they spew out since Jeff is constantly talking over everyone anyway. It wouldn’t piss me off so much if he ever had anything the least bit insightful to say. Drew reminds me a bit of Martin Starr from Silicon Valley who is actually pretty funny but is dragged down in the mud by that idiot Jeff who’s nasally voice is like an even more unfunny Nick Swardson who has the personality of a bag of flour and talks like he’s making inside jokes with an infant version of himself. No one knows or cares what you’re talking about Jeff! I feel bad for any guest who’s ever been on the show and had to interact with Jeff; if only for a moment. Doyle is fine, I guess. I think the podcast would be greatly improved if you unplugged Jeff’s mic. That is of course only if no one is willing to push him into oncoming traffic. But I hope the 3 hosts can take some joy in knowing that I will most certainly be listening to their podcast whenever it is I finally get around to killing myself. I gave the podcast 5 stars so it can continue to torture people long after the Flyers stop.
