Welcome to The Broom Box Podcast! Come on in for a wild ride with two witchy badasses as we navigate this thing called life. This podcast will consist of our ridiculous banter back and forth as we tackle topics from our witchy path, experiences that you may or may not share, and even some of the serious issues that plague our world today as much as they have for ages. Our goal is to bring magick into everyone’s life, shed a little light that we are all, mostly, normal…whatever the hell that means. We’re excited to have some special guests agree to join our shenanigans including a licensed counselor, astrologists, herbalists…etc…and have plans for many more that will most assuredly be wooed by our power of persuasion, or snacks, let’s be real…everyone loves snacks. Today, we’ve got 2 witches and a therapist discussing…religious trauma. Though we barely scratch the surface on this massive topic, there’s some good nuggets in there. Fair warning this could be a trigger for some. Reality is, we, as in us as podcasters and all the other things we “are”, have experienced religious trauma in some form or fashion. And while it may be taboo to speak about it out loud, it exists, and we encounter it every day in the work we do. That’s why, we have a therapist on board to help us dissect the shit, because…well, at the end of the day we want to shed light on an issue, but remain respectful, and encourage everyone to heal in the way they feel aligned to do so.
