This podcast will cover all things related to canyoneering, canyoning and gorging. We will interview people in the canyoneering community that have some knowledge to contribute. Either by providing gear, beta, first descents, or were maybe involved in an accident or mishap where we will discuss what we can all learn.
Our hope with this podcast is to provide the listener with epic, entraining and educational stories that will help us all be more safe and adventurous canyoneers.

Canyoning the 406 with Eric Hardwick
Eric has been exploring the Glacier area and other parts of Montana and Idaho. We talk about some of his first descents and other adventures he had this year and some of the major lessons he learned. Especially when he did Heaps in Zion with a person, he had never canyoned with. We talk about the new website he is working with routes and ethics for Montana.

Canyons of the Mind with Russell James Ray
Russell James Ray is credited with the first canyoneering descents of the Barrancas, Sinforosa, and Batopilas. It was an endeavor that spanned several years, and included a self-delusional, non-first descent of the Barranca del Cobre.

Eric and I chat about the canyons in Sedona Arizona and the surrounding area. We cover how to keep the area protected by not damaging native ruins or cryptobiotic soil that is important for the ecosystem there. Great listen if you like adventure and canyons
I recently did a canyoneering trip in Zion. It was an incredible experience. Returning home, I searched for information on canyoneering.
