Medical There are many different ways that pregnant women who use substances or alcohol may be treated during their prenatal care, and different approaches to intervening during pregnancy. What are common approaches to providing medical care for pregnant women who use substances or alcohol? Are these approaches influenced by stigma against alcohol or substance use during pregnancy?

Maridee Shogren is our final speaker in our virtual forum series. She will wrap up the speaker panel by discussing holistically the health, wellbeing and research of pregnant women and substance and alcohol use. She is a leader in North Dakota with her work to increase access to treatment and care and building community awareness and support for women. -

Introducing Circles of Care with Program Manager Eltina Three Stars.
The Community Support Groups, offered by OHC at the Lacrosse location, serve as training for friends and family members concerned about loved ones who live with a substance use disorder. The program is based on the Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) model, a highly effective, evidence-based, motivational program that impacts communities and families in multiple areas of their lives. -
