This week Greg is talking with Jason Walton! Most people know Jason from his involvement with Agalloch and Sculptured, but he is a brilliant composer and musician and has released tons oif music under various project names such as Moonbladder, Snares of Sixes, Self Spiller, Especially Likely Sloth and a whole plethora more that you should go check out RIGHT NOW on his Bandcamp. We had an excellent time talking about the mutual confusion both of our bands endured in the early 2000’s of being compared to each other for the simple reason of just having brass instruments in the band. We also discuss the origin of his friendship and music collective with Don Anderson and John Haughm, his experiences with Agalloch, the origins of his I Hate Music podcast, and all the usual tangents!
